Lia Block Is The Future of Formula One

Lia Block began racing at just 11 years old, learning from her late father, motorsport icon Ken Block. What started as a passion quickly evolved into a legacy of her own.

At only 16, Lia made history as the first and only female driver to win the American Rally Championship, and has since shattered records and expectations along the way.

Lia is part of the Formula 1 Academy, a female-only racing series launched by Formula 1 to support and develop the next generation of women drivers. The series is designed to help young talent progress to higher levels of motorsport, including Formula 3, Formula 2, and potentially Formula 1. In this video, Lia shares how the Academy has impacted her career thus far and how she hopes to continues her growth within the program.

Special thanks to the Miami Grand Prix, Formula 1 Academy, and Williams Racing for allowing us to film and tell Lia's story.

“I shoot for the stars and I want to go as big as I possibly can, whether that is F1 or WRC.”
