After avid indoor cycling fan Briana Thompson decided there was a void in the boutique fitness space, that she was meant to fill — diversity.
Briana wanted to create an experience specifically with women of color in mind while still attracting a diverse crowd of women — and men. Taking the luxury, intimacy, and community aspects of the boutique fitness experience and bringing it to areas that lack access and exposure. In that vein, Spiked Spin was created. The mission is to educate, support, and mobilize people through every phase of the wellness journey. With a commitment to improving generational health and diversifying the wellness space in terms of race, culture, body types, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
