• The Orlando Pride is looking to become the second team in NWSL history to win back-to-back trophies. Orlando won its first trophy as a club in this year’s NWSL Shield, a trophy for the team with the best record at the end of the regular season. If the Pride go on to win the championship, it’ll also mark the first title for a Black head coach in the NWSL.

In her first NWSL season, Temwa Chawinga has set the league (and its record books) on fire. She’s scored on every single team she’s played against and racked up a league-record 20 goals so far this season. The Current will depend on Chawinga in their first-ever home playoff match at CPKC Stadium.

Gotham FC is currently ranked third in the NWSL standings and is looking to defend its 2023 Championship title. Gotham will host its first-ever home playoff match on Sunday, November 10.

The Portland Thorns are down to the wire in the regular season. The Canadian legend, Christine Sinclair, will play in her final game at Providence Park this evening against Angel City FC. With a crucial three points on the line, the Thorns must win or a draw to clinch a playoff spot. Can Portland see Sinc to one more Championship?

An absolute WSL fan-favorite. Carter is the smiling rock at the back that we all grew to know and love at Chelsea. Moving to NJ/NY Gotham this year made sense for Carter to be closer to her partner, Ann-Katrin Berger. Jess signed a multi-year deal and has already become a big hit with New Yorkers.

Man City’s golden child signed with Washington Spirit over the summer and has been sorely missed by us all. Morgan is a go-to for wholesome content and good vibes amongst the squad. Despite not wanting to label the beautiful game ‘soccer,’ she’s winning Washington over.

It was big news when the Manchester United captain decided to set sail for a sunnier climate at Angel City FC, but the move had come on the heels of a few big names choosing to leave the Red Devils this summer. Zelem will want to make a big impression in the NWSL if she’s aiming to win back her place in the Lionesses in time for the Euros next year.

After 4 years at Spurs, Rosella decided to go on loan to the Chicago Red Stars. Ayane’s pace is something to behold, as well as her incredible eye for fashion — she hit up Paris Fashion Week and delivered this summer, and we expect she’ll be leading the way in Chicago.
