WNBA Legend, Sylvia Fowles, Says Goodbye To Basketball

Shockingly enough, the WNBA was never a dream for Sylvia, but it quickly became a reality as she made her presence felt in the paint throughout her fourteen-year career. Instead, her "goal is always how can I deflect that and make other people feel good," this gives you some insight into the type of person Sylvia Fowles is.

In February 2022, Sylvia Fowles announced she planned to retire after her final season with the Minnesota Lynx. Fowles is an avid knitter, bike rider, mortician in training, and has plans to become a mother. In association with Minnesota Lynx and HighlightHer, this is “Syl’s Final Ride.” A glimpse into the legend’s last season, and the legacy she has left behind.
