Food and Beverage Innovator Doubles Down on Partnership with TOGETHXR, Amplifying Shared Commitment to Women's Sports

Seattle, WA, SEPT. 24, 2026 —Today, the Stanley 1913 brand announced the inaugural recipients of the Stanley 1913 x TOGETHXR Changing the Game grant program, alongside the launch of a new Everyone Watches Women's Sports™ product lineup. This launch deepens Stanley 1913's partnership with the media company-co-founded by Alex Morgan, Chloe Kim, Simone Manuel, and Sue Bird alongside sports media veteran Jessica Robertson-and amplifies their shared mission to improve access to women's sports.

Building on the extraordinary momentum surrounding women's sports, the Changing the Game grant supports five changemaker grantees-existing and soon-to-be-established women's sports bars and restaurants-with funding and mentorship that drives meaningful impact across communities and addresses a longstanding need for food and beverage spaces dedicated to women's sports fandom.

"Women's sports fandom is growing at an incredible pace, with the surge in spaces built for those fans arriving in record numbers but still needing a boost to meet the true demand," said Bailey Williamson, SVP of Partnerships at TOGETHXR. "Together with Stanley 1913, we're helping change that by investing in the founders creating permanent homes for women's sports in their communities. These aren't just places to watch a game. They're where fandom, culture and community come together, and we're incredibly proud to help bring more of them to life."

Meet the Grantees Who Are Changing the Game

Five exceptional grantees were selected for their ability to drive community impact, inspire new gameday food and beverage rituals for fans, and cultivate a unique and welcoming atmosphere that values connection, unity, inclusivity, and the power of women's sports:

Babe's, Chicago

Babe's Sports Bar opened in fall 2025 with a line down the block, demonstrating the excitement and need for a place where the women's game is shown exclusively on every screen. The concept started with a dream: creating a world where women's sports are just as celebrated as men's. That dream has transformed into a treasured destination for the Chicago community that leads the charge on making women's sports more accessible through an inclusive, inviting space for fans. Funding from the Changing the Game grant will support a patio buildout to increase access, and expansion of the establishment's innovative food and beverage program.

"We love being a space not just to watch women's sports but to bring fans together to connect," said Nora McConnell-Johnson, co-owner, Babe's. "Our programming is designed to encourage community-building and is always bringing new people into the bar, many of whom leave with new friends."

Bar IX, Detroit

Bar IX was established in 2025, operating as a pop-up watch-party venue, hosting more than 25 successful events while it works toward opening a permanent location. Bar IX was selected to receive funding to support its build-out, which will serve as Detroit's very first venue solely dedicated to women's sports, meeting the needs of the local community for a third space to watch their famed professional teams.

"Bar IX is more than a home to watch women's sports-it's a community, a movement, and a source of joy," said Alissa Graff, owner, Bar IX. "We've hosted many watch parties for Detroit's women's sports fans over the last year, drawing nearly 100 attendees at each. The demand is there. The time is now."

Roundhead Brewing Company, Boston

Roundhead Brewing Company was founded by two fathers who met while coaching their daughters playing Jamaica Plain youth soccer. Located in Boston's Hyde Park, Roundhead is the first Latino-owned brewery in Massachusetts and prioritizes women's sports viewership. Roundhead was selected from the grantee pool for its deep community roots and relationships with local sports teams; funding supports bar expansion from a clubhouse to a premier destination for watching and cheering women athletes.

"We bring together a unique intersection of people: from the grassroots Jamaica Plain youth soccer families to professional-tier Legacy FC supporters," said Craig Panzer, co-owner, Roundhead. "We are a family-friendly space where young girls can see professional women athletes celebrated on the big screen, inspiring generations to come."

The Sports Bra, Indianapolis

Opening later this year in Indianapolis, the new venue marks one of the very first franchise locations of the acclaimed Portland, OR flagship, operating as a bar built exclusively for women's sports. Paying tribute to the original Sports Bra, the bar will feature a vibrant mural by a local Indianapolis artist, designed as a signature wall where athletes can leave their mark on the new space. Grant funding will support creation and installation of additional bar features and artwork to engage, delight, and bring together the local Indy women's sports fan community.

"Something incredible happened at our watch parties," said Eve Keller, co-owner, The Sports Bra Indianapolis. "People who had never met each other started acting like they had been coming here for years, because of their shared investment in the game. That's the power of women's sport when you give it the right room. The crowd is already here - we're just finally giving them a home."

Victory & Velvet, Dallas

Victory & Velvet is set to open in summer 2028, timed with the Summer Games, as Dallas' first premium women's sports bar and a permanent home for women's sports fans. Victory & Velvet is a sports institution built around elevating women's sports, bringing together immersive viewing, premium hospitality, a scratch kitchen, and food and beverage rituals designed around the game. The flagship venue will create an experience where women's sports are consistently centered, celebrated, and given the cultural and commercial attention they deserve.

"For too long, women's sports fans in Dallas have experienced the same friction: arriving at a sports bar, asking for the game to be switched on, being told the sound stays off, and watching on a screen in the corner while other games dominate the room," said Pharlone Toussaint, co-owner, Victory & Velvet. "That experience communicates that the game, and by extension the fan, doesn't fully belong there. Victory & Velvet exists to reverse that entirely."

These establishments represent a new way of not only supporting women's sports but celebrating and connecting the community of fans who have long yearned for spaces that recognize the excitement, caliber of play, and athletic prowess that exists amongst female athletes.

"At Stanley 1913, we celebrate creators, builders, and inventors," said Kate Ridley, Chief Brand Officer, the Stanley 1913 brand. "And today, we cheer five inaugural gamechanging grantees-passionate founders of women's sports bars and restaurants who have brilliant visions for bringing the women's game to their communities, establishing food and beverage rituals with women's sports at the forefront."
